What the facilitator records and why.
- The facilitator records payment telemetry (payer address, payee, amount, transaction hash, timing, success/failure) to operate the service, prevent abuse, and display aggregate usage. This data is largely public on-chain already.
- Listing metadata you submit (name, description, URL, payout address, contact) is stored to publish and verify your listing.
- The facilitator does not sell personal data. Private keys are never logged.
- On-chain transactions are public and permanent and are outside Canopy's control.
